WorkSpan Launches NOW Assist Agent for ServiceNow CRM

WorkSpan has launched a NOW Assist Agent for ServiceNow CRM, connected natively to the company's WorkSpan.AI platform through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. The product lets inside sales teams manage co-sell motions and hyperscaler marketplace transactions without leaving ServiceNow, addressing what WorkSpan describes as "toggle tax" (the time cost of switching among CRM platforms, partner portals, and marketplace interfaces). Core capabilities include renewal-risk identification 90 days before contract expiration, account matching to buying signals and incentives from AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, and automated private-offer drafting. The integration operates through a three-layer MCP architecture that connects ServiceNow's interface to WorkSpan's intelligence layer and, optionally, to enrichment from external CRM and ERP systems.

Our take: The co-sell space has no shortage of platforms promising to reduce system switching (I like the phrase "toggle tax") for sellers, but embedding directly in ServiceNow rather than adding yet another portal to the stack is meaningful progress. The MCP architecture is worth watching: if it holds up as an open orchestration layer connecting ServiceNow, AWS Partner Central, and external ERP data, WorkSpan positions itself as connective tissue for marketplace-adjacent workflows rather than a standalone co-sell tool.
